Keeping up with the latest technology or techniques for doing our work is no small feat. In this talk Madonnalisa will review her career journey in how she went from library systems analyst to product manager for taxonomy and content services.
Along the way you’ll get tips and tricks to stay engaged in your work, how to get outside of your comfort zone, and the timing for which paths you take in your career journey. She will share references and resources to materials that have shaped some of her choices and then open up the conversation for questions.
Madonnalisa Chan is Director of Product for Digital, Taxonomy and Content Services at Salesforce. Previously she consulted for close to 20 years helping companies establish their metadata and taxonomy programs, setting up content management systems or site search functionality, and helped develop product strategies to support business goals and delight users.
Her goal with every project is to invest in the people she’s working with and act as a bridge between groups, both to facilitate communication within teams and to provide strategic solutions, not only for the project at hand, but also for the business at large. Transparency, integrity, and relationship-building operate at the core of everything she does.
